LED light for DIN socket

Has anyone put a light in the Transcontinental topcase? I know there is a DIN socket there, just need a solution to plug in there.

I had a light in my Goldwing Topcase. But I think it was battery powered. Any solution or idea will help.

Still waiting on my new TC. Got word that is has moved from the warehouse to a processing center. Waiting is the worst, I wanna ride it.

How about installing a flexible goose neck map light, and wire it in directly using the DIN socket with an ON/OFF switch:

BMW sells a flashlight that plugs into that socket. I found it in the BMW micro fiche under accessories.

Sure a light is not already in there? I know my top case on my K1600 GTL is lit and I think the harness for the top case on the R18B & T/C includes a connection for the top case light.
