Nice ... i sometimes wonder how much better it'd sound to my ears if the exhaust sound on my Freedom Performance pipes weren't exiting so far back on the bike.

What modifications did you need to make on those pipes to get them to fit?

This exhaust is made from car exhaust tips. They were oversize so I had to build up the exhaust end after the catalytic convertor, cut four slots in the end of the exhaust tips and use car U exhaust clamps to attach it. One benifit of an "oversized" exhaust tip was that I slid it right up to the cat convertor so the junction was completely behind the exhaust shield, resulting in a very clean instalation. It cost just over $100 and some time. It is loud but sounds great from the riders prospective. The weight savings were a bonus, thou couldn't keep the brackets for the saddle bags on the classic so they had to go.
