Make your own ‘Hero blobs’.

M10x1.5 bolt ( 32 mm long or more ) . Cutting it down. Only want thread.
Want about 8mm of thread inside dome and about 11-12mm of exposed thread ( for screwing into floorboard ).
Before cutting off head of bolt, thread a nut on. After cutting ( near tip of blue loctite container in photo , after measuring required length of thread ), then file end of thread and work nut over cut thread a few times to make sure it screws into floorboard thread.

Then insert thread about 8mm into dome nut with loctite. Once set , carefully screw into base of footplate/ floorboard with more loctite.

Cost approximately $2.40 AUD and my time .

Are you making a ghetto nub for the floorboards...?

I've been dragging my nubs recently and more often; however, I still have a long way to go before I need to start thinking about replacing them.. Perhaps, try swapping them from Left to Right and visa-versa; whereby, rotating them by 180° and order to grind down the other side?

The entire floorboard hardware kit, sells for approximately $30 USD; which, includes two nubs..

When I replaced my stock floorboards on my R18B with RS Floorboards I noticed that the nubs on the RS boards were a lot shorter than the OEM ones.

Was an Enduro / mtb rider ; not a road/track rider. Had a Jap bike at University back in the 80’s for 18months. Didn’t start back on the road till 2022 with the R18 . Making up for lost time?
