Hi, some time ago I posted that I had commissioned a new medical gel seat from the famous Tom Hurley in Scotland.

Well it has been made and here are the pictures...I will post pictures of it on the bike when it gets here...0960966a-234f-426a-ad29-4246ae30a646.jpeg9eb4f699-c7d2-46ab-8c81-da391efff6b0.jpeg17bd364e-d5e4-4aab-93b9-3fc310bda6fb.jpega4ac535e-bd37-4876-a0d2-8bd0ed9a8d24.jpegd66a4267-5a4a-44f0-9020-ba88722a0b88.jpeg4f7d84a6-e830-4d6a-919d-433e846f1919.jpeg4f7d84a6-e830-4d6a-919d-433e846f1919.jpegf2201bad-4f19-48e7-a86c-ef4645b3c004.jpeg978f785a-4f61-4c6f-88d3-6b8c5198f654.jpeg978f785a-4f61-4c6f-88d3-6b8c5198f654.jpeg003f8aff-fcd8-4fc6-8893-9cce3deee17f.jpeg0960966a-234f-426a-ad29-4246ae30a646.jpeg

The quality of the leather and craftsmanship looks the best I have ever seen. True work of art! I wander how the comfort of these are compared to corbin or Russell daylong seats.
As soon as it gets here I will photo the bejaysus out of it on the bike and give an account of comfort. It looks lush...

I'd get a second one made.... one to use and one to look at...... off course.... you could ride the bike from when it is fitted like your an old man on a GS 1250..... that is.... standing on the pegs when you ride.... so it stays beautiful.....

I assume you had to surrender your existing seat so they could use the seat pan?
I live in Mexico and Tom is in Scotland, so I bought one on eBay in UK and Tom found a Chinese Pillion . However yes you need to provide the pans although he mentioned fibreglass being possible. This was a redesign of shape of both pillion and rider, repositioning of badge, the addition of medical gel and reflex/memory foam, and of course the beautiful waxed leather cover with red and black and dragon scale. Not forgetting the custom sissy bar pad and grips..not pictured above.

It arrives Monday night according to UPS tracker... I will put photos up... whole cost including shipping GBP 870 ish....plus I paid GBP 160 for the seat on eBay.

But looking at the pictures it is well worth it ... I can not wait seeing the pictures!

Couldn't wait ...It arrived an hour ago.. awesome quality.

I have to put in captive rivnuts on the sissy bar pad and sew the grips on still...but ain't she pretty?

I will do a proper photoshoot in the coming days once all is fitted..

So happy and a massive shout out, big up or whatever they say now to Tom Hurley.. What an artist.
