While on a motorcycling trip with a friend around the Cincinatti/Kentucky countryside we had a rain day that we stopped and visited motorcycle shops. We wandered into the BMW dealer and I saw the R18 TC for the first time. I had ridden the Classic the year before in Daytona on a demo ride and loved it. I had an R1 and FJR at the time and never pulled the trigger. Well the salesmen saw the look in my eye and he new he had me as he reviewed the bike with me. Well we went back to the house and my so called friend found a demo bike for sale near my home. I called and put a deposit down on the bike then and there. The rest is history. I love the new bike and am looking forward to making memories with it…I sold the R1 last year and traded the FJR in on the R18.
