Finally got my new bike. So far I am loving it. I have come from an R nineT which was superb and before that a Triumph 2.5 Rocket 3. I changed as the R18 got in my head. The bike is a work of art. I will wait for a little until I decide if I want to change the exhaust or seat.

Welcome from down in Kent. Love the galaxy dust paint! I was cross shopping the 2.5 Rocket 3 and R18 but all the issues I was seeing with the Rocket and poor previous experience with Triumph put me off. We all sound like a broken record on here but check your rear preload

Thanks all for the warm welcome. A new day, more break in miles ticked off. Now at 300 . Impressed with the fuel economy (56) for a new engine. I made 175 on a tank with 14 litres to fill up.

Brave...smart man, keep the fish tail exhaust if you like it. Adds character to the base model. Also, try Rain mode after you hit 70mph. I guy I mentioned that to tried it and he said, I think, it got/kept it smooth up to around 76 or up to 77/78mph vs other rode modes. If your into Roll mode that is fine though Rain I think will remove some vibs at past 70...guessing below 80.

I don't have mine yet so your mileage may vary

Now past 1000 miles and faultless. I have had more complements from other riders than any other bike I have owned. A lot of Harley owners especially showing appreciation.

I’ve had a thumbs up from 3 HD riders on two separate occasions while out & about. Which was nice. I don’t think there is as much hatred out there as some like to make out. You get disparaging comments on YouTube videos but that seems to be par for the course on everything nowadays. That 719 is a looker
