Wonder if it’s the R20 and/or the 2025 R18 lineup.

They teased this back in October I think it was, and then quickly pulled down all references to the announcement without explanation. Lined up with the initial flurry of frustration around the reverse recall, so perhaps that was the reason for the push.

In any case, curious what they’ll take the sheets off of and if it’ll have me plotting any new moves.

Further, and I’ve said it before, it’d seem a bit wild to axe the all-but-failed R18 to replace it with what is essentially the same bike with an even bigger engine. Who’s asking for this? I mean, I love it, but where’s the customer base they’re aiming at?
 
I'm thinking along the lines of Longshot; "I sure hope this isn't something I have to have."
 
Also, this goes to show that our "big boxer" engines have a LOT of untapped potential... ;)

I set a reminder alarm on my phone for 10:55 hrs.; with some luck "good luck", I'll be on a train, returning from an uneventful inauguration DC trip - back to NYC...

I wish they held the ceremony indoors. Much safer given what happened in latter half of 2024.

The Inauguration will be held inside the Capital for the first time in decades.
They say it’s because of the weather but I think there are other concerns in play.

Just a friendly reminder to all that are interested, that the the Big Boxer video is today Tuesday, January 21 at 5 p.m. (CET) and 11 a.m. (EST)..

I'm looking forward to watching it.. what else am I going to do, I'll be sitting on a train heading back home...
 
It seems appropriate there be a big boxer news item today. Shoot, yesterday was a monumental day like none other. I was so pumped I bought an expensive watch with numbers 45-47 on the face.

That was sort of a BIG letdown... However, at least it wasn't an R18 discontinue announcement..!!
