OBDLINK LX - What else have you done with it???

Howdy,

Long time lurker. I finally got the OBDLINK and have reset the service light. What else has anyone done with the device????

Feedback = obd Port was on the other side of the bike tonthe manual!!!

From time to time, if bike is running a bit "off", I might reset the "adaptions".

I was also thinking of "bleeding" the ABS system when doing the brakes, but not sure if it is required. I can recall reading somewhere it isn't required after some model year.... that was associated with my r9t.... and pre R18s.

No ABS bleed. I reset my throttle on ocassion it gets squirrily. I clear codes every service just like the dealer.

I have a quirk, it forgets what time it is. To cure that, I need to unhook the battery for a while, then tell it what day and time it is.

flap stuff is off the bike. code shows on the motoscan, but no ch engine light.

36,000 smiles so far.

Bought mine at 1k, only at 3 but has been over winter.

You can service your brakes and ABS system with the GS-911. I just did that on my R18 classic. Used the GS-911 on my iPhone and followed the instructions that appear on the screen when the unit is plugged into the port on the bike (on the left side under side cover). The GS-911 is, in my opinion, a necessary device to have for R18s.
