I’ve ordered the OEM crash bars and am awaiting their arrival. In the meantime I’m considering a leather crash bar wrap.

Could anyone tell me the overall length of one side of the OEM crash bar?

Thanks in advance.

not want to rain on your parade but... (rain coming, sorry) that véry rarely keeps. I mean it acquires 'patina' the first lengthy ride. Insect remains are but one example. In contrast chrome cleans no issue.

Fwiw.... I have black ones on my r9t.... there a bit marked now and I'm about to buy a kangaroo black hide to wrap them.... then wax the hide and use a heat gun.... water and bugs no issue then.

Wrapping wet would shrink it tight and hard. But then you probably know better from more experience.
