WTB any part that has the factory pin striping on it damaged is fine.

I don’t believe the front fender was pin striped from the factory on the FE?

What do you want them for? There’s always stuff on eBay (for example) and no doubt other auction sites.

I am working on a project, and I have a pin stripper lined up to pin stripe my sidecar and sidecovers he is insisting on have an OEM part to match the striping. I don’t want to remove my rear fender and send it to him. So I was hoping to find an OEM striped part from a First Edition that was inexpensive to send him. It can be damaged, I really thought there mite be some take off rear fenders available from all the bobber projects.

Give him the measurements I posted earlier ... I send that to a pinstriper and he did a fantastic job with it on my fender.

I already tried that and I certainly appreciate you supplying that diagram. But the guy is insistent on having a part to match, evidently white is not necessarily white and he wants to also match the color. Said he has been burnt before without having a part to match, particularly since the stripes will have a clear coat over.

Yeah ... that is what my pin striper said as well .. then I told him just any bright white will do ... and he did and it worked out great in my case ...

Ahh, I see. Well, hopefully something will turn up for you. Don’t know your location but I’d start making a list of some bike breakers and online sellers who list BMW R18 used parts on eBay and the like, ring around a few, they probably don’t bother listing damaged parts (why would they?) but they may have a bent up mudguard or something in a pile out the back.
