Hello everyone, has anyone ever had an oil stain like this? It's located on the edge of the front engine cover.
Thanks! Pas@l

The front cover does not seal any oil inside.
It is only the lid on the intake air plenum chamber.
Behínd it is the distribution cover and thát can leak/sweat oil.

Although not the topic; the green things above the purple sealing are the imtake opening where the harmonica rubbers connect to the filter box.

Looks like you’ve got similar oily stains on the lower front of the cover (splatters). It’s in a strange position though high up on the side and has no obvious source, I’d consider road debris or external contamination as a prime contender. You’ve obviously got a photo. I’d thoroughly wash that area of the bike, dry it off properly and then see if you get it again. If you do go to your dealer and report the issue, a 2023 bike will hopefully still be under warranty. I wouldn’t take the cover off yourself unless you really have to, let them do it. My gut says it’s road grime. 🤞 for you.

Thank you all for your messages. I went to the dealership and he told me that he had never seen this problem before. He also thinks that it could be external contamination and he suggested that I clean the area and check if the leak reappears. But we still scheduled an appointment for mid-November just in case.

I cleaned the engine last Friday and so far the leak hasn't reappeared. We'll see if this is confirmed in 2 weeks. I'll keep you informed 😉

I really hope that it remains external contamination because the dealer told me that intervention on the front of the engine would require dismantling part of the front chassis...
The bike only has 13,000 km (8,000 miles). I don't like the idea of having to touch the engine so soon 😩

In the meantime, I really enjoy riding this bike and I hope to continue for a long time.🏍️🏍️🏍️

Ok. Hello everyone., I’ve good news 😁
There is no leakage but just external contamination. The dealer takes the cover off and didn’t see any leak.
Bdalamina and Rufus : you were right, it was nothing.
Petrus : I thank you too for your Precious information.
Wishing you all a nice week. Faithfully Pas@l
