Planning a tour with the new (for me) R18 not first edition (do not know how ro define a first edition spec 2022).
Retro bike and planning a retro trip so going paper Michelin map; 1.000.000 : 1 (1 cm = 10 km ).
Edition 2017 so with road planners in their infinite wisdom having changed some road numbering of the exact same roads.
Some road numbers and towns (hoping to fool proof road number changes) jotted on a bit of paper masking take to stick on the tank like in the seventies/eighties.
The goal is to stay off highway/interstate, provincial even. On the legenda it is 5th down from the top.. I máy decide to go one (or two
) up depending on how the thing handles the real mountainous single lane twisties 
The ´destination´ is crossing Extramadura and the find a local bridge into Portugal.
Make a loop around the lakes there and find another such river crossing and see if we can get to medieval Cacares.
Stops and overnights as we go and feel like.
Me being retired and the charming company between jobs, the time frame is roughly aiming to get back 6th day.
Luggage for 2 in a 40 l. bag on the rear rack and that´s it.
Will need to fuel up when possible as Extramadura is largely empty and NÓT using an app for such or anything else.
