On the TC what kind of mileage did you get out of your OEM tires?? What was the replacement?

Just replace my tires, front was cupped pretty bad, back not so much, had Michelin Commander 3 touring as OEM 5900 miles, along with my 6K check. Got a couple of big rides planned for Sept, Oct, Nov (1000 miles ea. minimum) decided to just put a new set on. Went with Metzler 888 Touring, I will see how they fair. Rode the dragon, moonshiner, Cherohala, Skyway, pretty aggressively a few times, and then finished up a 1.2 K ride on mostly 2 lane roads. (all but about 150 miles on 2 lane ) Didn't notice any handling changes, But I did notice the front tire singing in the turns! LOL.

Alright maybe I will give the Metzlers a try..
 
Wie sind deine Bremsbeläge? Ich brauche für vorne neue Bremsbeläge laufleistung 18.000 km. Ich habe Neue Bremsbeläge hinten bei 15.000 km erneuert . Fahre ein R18 Classic

My brake pads were fine at 5900 miles. On all the beemers I have owned I have gotten quite a few miles on them. Can't give you a number, but in 85000 miles on my 14 GTL I think I replaced them twice, On My 05 R1200RT I put about 30K on that bike before I replaced them and while both still had a little pad left I would rather be proactive and change them early.
Sorry for the delay in replying, I can recognize German, but can't read it and don't speak it much more than to order a little food and bier! LOL
