Does anyone know how to remove these plastic plugs, so pillion foot pegs can be installed? Do they just pop out? I've carefully tried, but no luck. Possibly require a little more force. Any suggestions/advice appreciated!

I just removed my pillion/passenger pegs yesterday, they have threaded holes there. Just pull rubber plugs out, may have to turn a little but should pull right out.
Still having trouble removing these damned things 😂. What tool did you use? Noticed you said the plugs are threaded, so did you just turn anti-clockwise to loosen, and then just pull out?! Someone on a different platform said they had to drill out the centre of the plug and then remove without hitting the metal thread of the actual bike. Surely that's not the answer!
