Quad lock wireless charger

How can I connect the charger into the electrical system without causing issues, I purchased the one with two bare wires. Is there a way to add a factory connector and plug into an unused port on the bike? I have the wire ran under the tank to right above the battery.

This is what the instructions mention:

The Quad Lock® 12V - 24V Waterproof Wireless Charging Head must be wired through ignition positive (not steady positive) or isolator switch with correct in-line 3A fuse and not directly to the battery to avoid battery drain. Recommended installation by a qualified professional.

This is the way, connect to Auxiliary power via the repair wire connection--works perfectly. I also have the 2 bare wire version.

Perhaps consider the waterproof wireless charging head with usb cable model together with the waterproof 12v to usb adaptor as an alternative. The adaptor has a permanently 'on' mode or an 'auto' mode that turns itself off to prevent a flat battery. There's a utube video whereby an owner pulls his tank and top engine covers off to install but no need for that - its easy as. Here's an image of mine with the adaptor tucked behind the tool caddy and fixed in place with a supplied zip tie. One end of the adaptor has a cable with fuse for attaching to the battery positive and another goes to the negative. The other end of the adaptor has a cable runs to the charger head. Cable follows the bikes wiring harness along the spine of the bike under the tank and is attached via long cable ties, no need to remove tank and top engine covers. The blue part in the photo is the switch to turn from auto or on. (I put a piece of bicycle tube over the adaptor so it grips the metal bracket and tied on with the cable tie)

Mine is connected to my USB/12V port near the left peg. The factory wire is the exact length needed to make it work if you buy the USB version.

It runs from my handle bar through the gauge gap and under the gas tank to the 12V port.

You have options to swap that out for cheap.
This is what i used. It's not waterproof though despite the look of it.
