Question for the handlebar guys.

I am currently swapping my OEM bars for the Wunderlich low sport bars. So far everything is going great, however, I am trying to pull the wires out of the stock bars and fear they may get damaged in the process. Any tips out there to help reduce the stress on the lines?

Dawn liquid soap... Tape up the connectors so that the detergent doesn't contaminate the electrical contacts.
