r18 classic, first edition versus special edition

I just put a deposit on an R18 Classic (2021). I was pretty sure I was buying the First Edition, but the build sheet they sent me says it's a "special edition." Is this the same thing? I thought there were only two models - basic and First. I don't know what "special edition" means. Thanks!

It's got pinstripes and it's a 2021, so I'm concluding that yes, it's a first edition! Enjoy!

I think that the "market launch package" sounds like first edition terminology.

Yeah, chrome and pin stripes on 2021 models was only in First Edition package. In 2022, those are individual options, but wouldn’t have the additional First Edition badging that is also part of First Edition package.

Design option chrome + white pinstripe are the difference between standard / first edition models - howver you also get first edition mentioned on the side badging.

On my 'first edition' build sheet, it doesn;t say anywhere that it is actually a first edition either.

Probably best to call the dealer & confirm.
