Bike
2023 BMW R18C ------- 2024 Kawasaki Ninja Sx 1000
I discovered today, while removing the windsheild, that the left side clip had fallen off.

Where can I get a replacement. The bike is under warranty.

From what I can see in the BMW parts fiche that part may not be available as a standalone part, but rather only as part of the entire bracket. May want to consult your dealer and se if they can do you a solid. Otherwise I'd look for a used part online.

Take off the one that is left ... get it to a local machine shop and have them whittle one out for you? ... if indeed it is not gettable as stand alone part ... or if you are crafty ... make one yourself? ... just my 2¢

Does anyone know if BMW makes a plug to put in the top of the forks when the windshield bracket is removed?

Bad Mike
Thanks,
I just ordered them.

Just wondering, how did you find them and what prompted you to search such an item? !

I have removed my windshield and someone else posted that these fit. I haven't ordered them but saved them on my amazon account, to order at some pointBMW R18 R.jpg

BMW LOUDSPEAKER part number 77 52 2 469 294. Came on the bike from the dealer! I took that off too, changing handlebars to a low touring bar. No windshield, bags, bars, passenger seat, or loudspeaker. Keeping the auxiliary lights.

Same here. I removed the bags and the windsheild from my 2023 R18 Classic.
I will install fishtail pipes.
I think the R18 is no R18 without the fishtails.

What size did you order? The link is for 22-24mm, is this correct?
yes, 22-24mm, they cover the hole but aren't big enough to stay in from friction alone , they would stay in with some adhesive. Maybe the next size larger. I'm NOT going to use them. I might try the next size larger but its not at the top of my "to do list".
