II removed the small rack and back pad from the bike yesterday and put the original seat back on.
The rack is slightly smaller than A4 size. The back pad can fold down over the rack to act as a seat.
You remove the original rear seat (one bolt at the rear), take out the 3 bolts that hold the bar with the rear seat mounting pegs and replace them with the metal block and three screws. There's a long bolt that goes through the cylinder of the folding mechanism.
One of the internal plastic bushes is slightly damaged, looks like someone tried to operate the central bolt without the moving part in the correct position, but it all works fine.
Should fit both the Classic and standard R18.
I'm not sure who manufactured this, but it looks to be decent quality. These are £200+ on eBay, so yours for £150.
