R18 Dual tone horn upgrade

I’ve always been a huge fan of the way the recent K1600 horns sound. In my opinion, they sound very similar to a mid-size car and I like that.

This is due to the K1600s using two horns. One 420hz and one 510hz.

The R18 comes with a single horn, and it’s the same 420hz as one of the K1600 horns.

I decided to grab a used 510hz horn that came off a K1600, some BMW connectors, and install it along side the 420hz horn.

I can’t agree with you more. I just traded my K1600B for an R18 Bagger and asked the dealer if they could swap the two horns. I was not aware of the two horns on the K bike, until they (the dealer) told me. The dealer then made it sound like a full stop with swapping them. If not too much trouble, can you describe or show how you mounted the two horns ?
