R18 Anniversary Edition
I have two bikes. An R18 and an HD fatboy. The R18 shifts so easy and with the 3 ride modes, makes for an entertaining ride. Gotta love the boxer engine and easy ride of the BMW. The HD Fatboy has great optics but has a buzz (no rubber mount engine), and the transmission always has a heavy clunk.

On the flip side, the HD fatboy has good ergonomics in that the rider sits straight up with no forward lean while riding. To get that same ergonomic comfort on the R18, I had to mount better handle bars and did.

Fwiw..... on my R18 I tried 25mm and 50mm bar risers for about a week each and settled on the 25s. The 50s had me sitting upright and the 25s had me slightly leaning forward. Once over 40mph the slightly leaning forward posture was much better. I spend 80% of my time over 40mph.

I was just starting to take pics of my bars and windshield when high winds and rain hit.
Pushed the bike into garage and called it a day.

Noelpolar did you need longer clutch and brake hoses?
