I bought the Meng 1/9 Scale Model not sure what to expect. It is coming together and I have to admit I am impressed with the quality of the kit and the finish on the painted parts.
Was happy to get the classic in the Mars Red same as Big Red.
Will not have all the same mods but it will sit in my home office a visual reminder of the awesome ride sitting outside begging to be ridden!
Available in both Black and the Mars red.
Can recommend
May try and 3D print some of the mods I have added to replicate the actual ride when I am finished building

It is finished! Detail is amazing on the model unfortunately the old eyes and fat fingers mean there are a few errors/mistakes but i am super impressed with the overall result.
Now to try and figure out how to add the same mods as on the real Big Red

Had it shipped to Australia while I was there as the company did not ship to Germany.
I searched for a local supplier but most only had the black. I wanted red and didn’t want to have to paint it.
Search locally for Meng BMW R18 and you should get some hits.
