Yes, no mod on the bike itself.
I just had to make these aluminum adapting plates to compensate the difference in center distance.
They have been painted along with the mud guard.
The small holes go with the OEM screws.
The two big on the guard.
They're almost invisible when in place.

as promissed, the pinstripe pictures of the front fender, of a friend who is now restoring a R25 (not R26)... as an indication for the dutch readers; the painter charges 60 euro's per fender... not bad at all I think

Hi, went out to pick up the frontfender with it's pinstriping at the painters shop.
Not bad at all !!
This is on a TC frontfender; the pinstriping stopped under the chrome thingies on the front
The price is very doable; you have to negotiate that with the artist.

R18B front mudguard fitted to my R18C today. Looks much better but more importantly it is functional. Riding this afternoon on some wet back lanes the bike and myself were not covered in muck. Good result. The mudguard was on the bike within a week of being ordered.

Well, installed the TC frontfender on my Classic... took me some, very at ease, 2 hours... here are some pictures of the end result...

I received the front fender from the R18B today PN 46617924616, almost a month after I ordered it which isn't too bad considering it came from Germany. Installation wasn't bad but the T40 screws that attach the fender on to the lower fork are a bitch to get at without removing the front wheel & they use a bunch of lock tight. I did have to drop the brake caliper. I replaced the T40 screws with SS 8M 1.25 x 20mm bolts with lock & flat washers when I installed the new R18B fender. I have to take it off again to get it pin striped & I can actually get a wrench on the bolts. Here is the result on the Classic, I really like it.
