Had bike in for fault mechanic check harnesses, voltage.
Told me he would have to call bmw had no idea what problem was.
I checked and cleaned all contacts and fuses.
Charged me $ 200 said they need
The mechanic said he would have to call bmw before he could go any further.
Service manager wants me to bring back before they call bmw.
Dealer is 3 hours away.
Spring strut fault always come on.

Are you riding one or two up..?

Any luggage or additional weight in the side cases?

There is a sensor on the right hand side of the bike, close to the rear tire - shaft drive; does it look intact or maybe dislocated the ball joint?

I'll post a picture when I can get to my bike; there is an electrical connector that connects the sensor that calculates the weight based on sag.

There is a headlight adjustment located underneath the right hand side of the front fairing assembly; you can find the procedure within the owners manua.

The below images, show the dynamic suspension system connected to the rear spring-strut:

Now they are saying I need rear strut assembly $3600ca installed
Bike had 12000 k on it.
I would probably go with the WILBERS solution for my Model B / TC; you can get the rear strut for under $900 or do your front and rear suspension for $2,200..

It's on my upgrade list when the time comes for my suspension to be serviced; WILBERS has a module which suppresses an error codes from the self leveling system.
