2024 BMW R18B
For everybody with an R18, I have a 2024 R18 B. Here is a site that produces and sells really good engine guards and bag guards. I know because I dropped my bike last year in an underground garage where the slick concrete was full of dust. The guards worked really well, and I experienced zero damage. The only thing that happened was a small patch of paint rubbed off on the guards where the bike touched down. Can't see it unless you really look. The site is out of Poland, really good price, fairly fast delivery, and I really recommend them because they work and look good! https://www.roadstyler.com/en/product-category/bmw-en/bmw-r18-b-en/

+1 for RoadStyler rear protection bars. I have them on my 2023 R18 Basic. They were easy to install. The only issue I had was that I had taken off the pillion seat and removed the rear pegs. The pegs had to be re-installed because they act as a spacer between the bars and the peg mounts.

What do you find are the benefits of the AKRAPOVIC exhaust versus the stock you get with the original bike? Is this a two-in-one? Something I might do in the future?

Hello Vlad, I switch between the Akrapovics and the OEM fishtails just to change up the look. The Akras are shorter, lighter, and very well-crafted to fit the design of the bike. They are dual mufflers - not two-into-one. The sound is not much different from the OEM fishtails - definitely not louder if that's what you're after. I think it's just a personal preference of one or the other. I know the fishtails are love/hate with many. :)

I have the Transcontinental and I purchased protectors on eBay that I'm VERY happy with. I think they look better because they wrap around the front and sides of the bags. Of course, they didn't come with instructions but I only purchased them after I found a YouTube post that clearly showed how to install them. I had no difficulty installing them.
