I bought the Progressive rear shock with adjustable rebound and compression.
Installed it is better than the original, but still stiff. With a passenger it was great.
Well, I lost 40 lbs and ditched my pillion, so a total of 200lbs.
I now ride solo at 170 lbs.
I had the rebound on 6 (of 30) so the super stiff spring did not launch me off the bike after a big bump.
I put the stock spring on the new shock and OH MY GOD it rides like the rest of my bikes.
Settings are close to stock. Rebound 25, Compression 15 H and 15 L.
Also rides well rebound 20 Compression 0 H 0 L.
Sag is less than 5 with out me on it, then 20 mm with.
