Bike
R18 Roctane
Just purchased a new Roctane, love it..I love looking at it, the sound, the power, it’s just awesome. Rode all day today, loved every moment. Took some beauty shots for our enjoyment. Looking forward to making it my own and enjoying the forum so far tons of great insight on here.

Side note, what type of helmet should I purchase, I know its personal preference but if I could get some recommendations that would be great.

Side note two, looking for crash bars, sissy bar with pad, something like the one bmw sells and maybe a small rack that can be installed. Eventually want to add a fairing of some sorts too.

Good choice (but I’m biased 😉), welcome to the forum, it’s a great place to call by from time to time 👍

I've gotta come in Texas, never been there. In my mental representation it's all desert.
So I'm always pleased to see so much green on the pics.
Next spring, on my Montauk ... 🤞

Beautiful looking bike.. I wouldn't touch it... Maybe a couple of tasteful goodies..... RSD reservoir brake/clutch covers.. RSD mirrors and levers..

Helmet Brand = any
Helmet Color = BLACK

Welcome aboard the forum...

This bike draws a good bit of attention, iv gotten at-least 1 compliment every time I'm out and about, people eye balling it in the parking lots. Even some Harley guys were checking it out. Im thinking about daily driving it when it makes sense its just so fun. Just need a good helmet.

You're right Joflo, helmet choices are really subjective. But, best advice is to simply get the best gear you can. I've been a Schuberth flip-top helmet fan for 25 years - riding GSAs first, and now my R9T and R18. I like their quality, light-weight, quietness, and integrated intercom system. As a Texan, you know that darker colors absorb and magnify the TX summer heat, so I prefer lighter colors - white or silver - to reflect the sun and avoid my helmet becoming a microwave oven. :)

Great pictures! I'm loving mine too.

My Schuberth C5 helmet is my favorite helmet I've ever had. The integrated comms system is a little quirky, but as long as you update the firmware once a year or so it seems to work well.

Here's the helmet for your new Rocktane, Joflo. My vintage Davida "pudding bowl" helmet with Leon Jeantet prescription goggles. :)

Very nice! Ended up going with a Shoei RF-SR in gloss black to match the roctane. I wanted to add a fairing to the bike but i just love the look of it as is, decided to get a good quality helmet thats hopefully quite enough to not need a windshield/fairing, most of my driving will be quick 15-20 minute trips, longest 2-4 hours, I will be using the bike as my daily.
