Ok 2300 miles and ready to do a bag off cleaning. Not so easy? On all my Harley baggers they had two 1/4 turn screws to release the bag and a quick connect for the electrical .
The Transcendental requires a tool, ok but it appears no disconnect for electrical???? Am I missing something? I searched the owner's manual and no mention of side case remove for service or cleaning.

I recently had to remove the cases on my TC to install the Roadstyler bag bars.

1. Remove the seat (steps in the manual)
2. There are 3 plugs under the seat that lead out to the side cases that have to be unplugged (2 on the left side, 1 on the right side)
a. The 2 similar plugs, pinch the clips on the sides and pull out. Then find the lever below the plug on the back side and pry it to one side while pulling the plug forward, releasing the plug from its mounting rail.
b. The bigger part on the round plug turns counter clockwise and that will release the plug
c. Undo all the zip ties for the wires that lead to the saddlebags (use a knife or a small screw driver, reuse the zip ties)
3. Remove the 2 large bolts towards the top of the inside of the case
