Roctane Exhaust Conversion

With my new (to me) Roctane , I had some Vance & Hines slip-ons included in the deal and I was intending to put them on and give the engine a better voice. However, when I got them out of the packaging, they are made for the Classic and will not fit the Roctane - the hangers are in the wrong place. So I have a couple of options - sell the 'wrong' ones and buy the 'right' ones, or modify the silencers to fit - cutting off the mounts and welding them back on in the right place.

So what do you guys think? The V&H cans are really expensive to buy but Shark Road cans are cheap by comparison.

Personally I wouldn’t hack and weld the Vance and Hines exhaust. Thats just me though. General consensus here is the Shark Roads are great pipes.
 
I agree that the Shark Road pipes are good value - I had a pair on my 2020 Goldwing and they had a lovely sound.
I think I will sell the V&H pipes locally and use the money to buy the Shark Road ones.
