Similar to me. Just coming up to end of warranty and have reported these issues. Flaking and blistering of chrome on one footrest and gear change, bubbling of paint on steering yoke. BMW have agreed to change out both wheels due to blistering where spokes insert into hubs. Hopefully, they will do the honourable thing here. My bike has 6,000 miles, is garaged and blow dried following any wash.

I have noticed rust/pitting on my header, trying to get BMW to replace the header under warranty. I will let you know how I make out with the warranty claim.
I got an email from my BMW dealer yesterday and BMW is going to replace the manifolds under warranty. Just have to wait for the parts to come from Germany.

Got my manifolds replaced today under warranty, many thanks to BMW and the local BMW dealer that installed them.

I'm not sure, but it looks like I found three small areas looking like they were starting to rust while replacing my air filter.. I sprayed them with a corrosion inhibitor oil.

Hello friends,
The chrome of the right cam-tube cover is coming off. Who has experienced this as well?
R18-FE 2020.
