Scooby's paints touch-up paint

Hello,

Recently, somebody thought it was a fun idea to throw a bicycle onto my r18. Im glad that there is no/minimal damage but the same cannot be said about the fuel tank. It got some scratches (not too deep but noticable) on the top side. So i am looking for touch up paint. I did some digging online and i found one from the brand Scooby's paints. But when clicking on the link it directs me too a car search tool, no motorbike. Has somebody used this brand before and where did you buy it? Or do you use some other brand? Thanks in advance. (my bike's color is: mars red metallic.)

Call your BMW service shop and ask them for the Mars Red paint code for your bike; or perhaps, someone will post on the forum for you.

Example: my 2022 Model B FE is black, which has a BMW paint code of ND2; I provided that information to the body shop, who mixed the paint for me - which was a perfect match.

That's a solid solution but i am afraid i have to pay the BMW premium for just a couple of scratches. I just found out that the link for the Scooby's paints is correct and it just costs 12 pounds. If somebody has good experience with that brand ill go for that. Im willing to bet that the bmw paint will cost 5-10x as much

Take the bike to a body shop and let a professional handle the repair...

Having worked in the motor vehicle industry for 14 years, I never saw a great touch up, even from professionals. If you are going to go that route, Star-Lord is not called ‘Star-Lord’ for no reason… follow his advice, as you do what you do for employment and they do what they do.

I used a company called TOUCH-UP DIRECT On my K1600 Bagger. Was a perfect match, they offer pints and aerosol both.

Sounds great. Good to hear it is possible toget it done right. Unfortunately, i have to cross half the world to get there
