Ulrich, would love to claim the idea as my own ; however just copying what the early J series Harleys of the 1920’s and some 1930-40’s Indians/Harleys did. Not original idea , like the style.
Kate and Dave, if you really think about it ... everything has been done at one point in time ... And having said this, you did it to an R18 ! and as far as I can tell you are the only one! So, even though it may not have been an 'original' idea ... it is still you that pulled it off! and that part I really like ... just my 2¢ ;)

It wasn’t meant as any form of criticism.
I was only pointing out the historical accuracy of the mod.
I think it looks great.

I do like that colour scheme. I have not seen it in the flesh yet but for the pictures i have seen online, I knew it is sick. Congrats 👊👊👊
Thanks, I saw the R18 Bagger in this collor, so they made me a Transcontinental in it. The first one...

Is that the Classic without screen and bags? Very nice. I have the pure and a love/hate relationship with those fishtails. But that looks good.
Yes it is the Classic without bags and windshield. I bought the Classic because I like the 16" front wheel better. I like the "naked" look too so I just stripped things off.

That's funny. I have done the reverse. I bought a Puig screen that stays on (too hard to take on and off) and Unit Garage bags that I put on for longer rides. The 16' wheels do look good. Have you compared yours to a Pure ie; handling.
