Slip-on recommendations please

BMW R18 Bobber
The fishtails have got to go, so I am looking for some slip-ons to replace them,
My bike is a bobber so something appropriate - about the only thing I can find is the Pro Race turnouts which look ok but I am not sure about the visible gap they leave.
Anything better available? Not too loud but enough to hear the engine's real voice. Oh and not stupidly expensive either. (I'm talking to you Zard)

There was someone on eBay selling a lovely set of Zards (used) that looked mint for a good price, it was listed for a few weeks, might be worth checking there for a week or two incase they are re-listed.
 
I can't see any used Zards on there now Rufus - but will keep my eyes peeled (y)
EDIT: I found a set of new ones 'unboxed' - still a bit pricey for me though :cry:

Hi RazMan, just be careful what exactly you order. Your Avatar says Roctane and they don’t have fishtails. The different exhaust options have different mounting points/pegs so may not fit. 👍

Strange, I thought I had edited my avatar and can't see any reference to my old Roctane - I have a Vanilla R18 now
Just ordered the Akrapovic Shorts which I think will suit me nicely :cool:
Anyone need a pair of nearly new Fishtails? ;)

Think you'll be happy with the Akras, RazMan. Very happy with mine. I went ahead and powder coated a few more engine pieces including the header heat shield to make a smoother transition between the chrome headers and black mufflers. If I ever have to take off the headers, I'll probably get them cerakoted to complete the blacked out look.

They certainly look nice and I hear good things about their sound too.
In my case I went for the chrome option but the black looks very nice on yours - good move on the Cerakoting too :cool:

Yes, they have a good sound - not louder than the Fish Tails, but a little deeper maybe? And the end caps are a nice finishing touch.
