I honestly agree... I'm currently at 13,000 miles and feel as though the bike sounds smoother, runs smoother and shifts with precision as I continue to log miles on the odometer...

´chill´ ???

My appologies but english is not my mother tongue and not familiar with that.

Also 84 mph pffff... Though the bike easily pulls strongly up to there and above, Í am far from comfortable at that end of the speed range. I find the bike calmes me down. I find it befits a slow life attitude. As I observed before hence I think 4 speeds would have been better matching the ample torque from 2 to 4k.

On topic it is probably mostly the transmission and I hope mine willnot get any smoother; lóve the feeling of the gears engaging and the cláck at low revs. Though heavier foot wear with a bit strurduer soles are much more secure when putting them down on earth, I find classic Vans more satisfying riding.
Going to a bikers party this evening and bet they will be looking funny at them but low Vans it will be. My lumberjack wear will be the odd one out in leatherware world anyway.
