Morning

I ended up with both this and the tall standard seat for the R18 Classic and after trying both I need the extra height of the BMW tall seat.

However the Weekender is far far comfier !!

So this is for sale - with a couple points to note

1. previous owner has cut a slot in the flap for the backrest
2. the backrest was a bugger to remove and now fits loosely so is only good for the lowest setting .... I have read you can put some gaffer tape on the bottom of it before sliding in to help.

Apart from above it is perfect and comes with the screw post to allow the pillion to fit

Just as an update - contacted Mustang who said there should be a detent screw underneath as per pic below ... you tighten this and it increases resistance etc.

They don't sell them as they say you have to go through BMW ... anyway its an option for anyone wanting the backrest higher
