I have been considering the same type of exhaust also. I like what you have done with the turnouts. What size did you use to match header pipe size so close?

I used 60mm outside diameter stainless steel. Had to build up gaskets on the bikes exhaust but the great thing was able to slid the exhaust tip all the way to the catalytic converter so it looks cleaner. Search for 2.3" In Angle Cut Stainless Steel Turn Down Outlet Exhaust Tip 8" Long. on ebay. You have to do a few changes but it can be done. Cheers brother.

You inspired my purchase, but I went a cheap route on Amazon.

Aramox GSX 750 mid pipe x 2

$77 to my door and not bad quality for Chinesium pipes. A little bit of play but I’ll solve that later.

Does that heavy black unused hanger come off the bike easily now that it is not used, or is it welded on? From an optics view, it occurred to me that it needs to be off the bike at this point.

It has 2 fasteners holding it to the mainframe. Easy to access but a bitch to break loose as they are blue loctite from the factory.

I just snapped a quick picture but I will try removing them in a rainy day.

Yeah, some of those fasteners on the bike are torqued on there. A hair dryer on high held two inches away for 30 seconds will heat things up nicely. Immediately grab a long handle ratchet and get on it. Should break free.

I hated the whale exhaust and wanted something with a straight old school feel. I fabbed up a heat shield over some titanium pro-race shorties. Sounds incredible. I believe it will go great with a bobber conversion.
What a great modification. Very clean looks incredible.
