Tail bag recommendation???

I own a classic first edition.I have the wonderlich sissy bar rear rack installed and I have the original saddlebags. I am looking for a tail bag for long journeys and I welcome recommendations. I would have preferred a tail bag with a tunnel to sit in the rack, but I am afraid it may damage the tops of my own saddlebags. Community, I need your help.

I use the Kriega US Drybags. Multiple sizes, fully waterproof and easy to add to any of my bikes. They don’t have the tunnel you’d asked about, but easy to combine several to have big capacity. My Classic is only ~31 liters with the saddlebags. I can double that with a 20L & 10L Kreiga on my tail rack. If I am packing a lot, I have 2 10L and the 20L combined to give me an extra 40L that doesn’t touch the tops of the saddlebags.

I use the BMW branded tailbag made for the R1250GS. It's waterproof, has a hard plastic bottom with an indentation that works with most hard racks (including the Wunderlich rack on my classic). It has a stackable second bag that works well also for more storage. I don't have a pic of the bag on the bike, but here are the piece parts...

Nice. Very nice. I do like the kriega bags and have placed my order.... But thank you so much. Let's use this thread as a 'who found the nicest tailbag' thread. I will post my photos when I get the bag!

I bought a Saddlemen TR3300DE bag. I have a custome flat plate aluminum rack. The bag fits best backwards using the supplied straps and I use a couple of extra cords. The bag looks very slightly funny becase the top lip of the bag is facing forward. I test rode it in this configuration and it is just fine. I will test it on a long-ish (for me) road trip in early August. The bag is very sturdy but I believe it is best suited for a rack made with round tubes as opposed to a flat aluminum rack. I like the flat rack for my shoulder bag though and when just riding around I like the look of my custom rack.IMG_7190.jpg

I haven't bought the kriega bag yet.... Still looking. Seen a tail bag by Vance where the bucks seem to match the OEM sale bags.... Am probably going to order that and return of no good.
