Tie down procedure

I will be trailering my R18 next weekend and thought it wise to inquire if there are any do's and dont's concerning tie down procedure. It's one of those things I do every 10 years. Couldn't find any threads on this via search. Will start with YouTube I guess.

Stating the bleeding obvious really but because the bikes are so low and long it’s easy to ground the bike going up and over a ramp even when not sitting on it. Just be careful incase you get stuck with 345kg of bike and no free hands. The loading and unloading phase is always the most sketchy part IMO. Once you are there and strapped down it’s fine.

Under the owners manual, there is a small reference to the tie down procedure. Mine is on pages 161 and 162. Yours may be in different pages.
