Tool bag tools?

I just ordered a roll up tool bag and will be filling it with the obvious basics but wanted to check in with some of y'all. Any less obvious tools I should be sure to carry for road trips? I'll obviously add the appropriate Torx sizes, adjustable wrench, pliers, the ever helpful electrical tape and zip ties--what do y'all carry?

Depends on whether you would/can use that. I mean how would you get a wheel out p.e.?

If you have cast wheels like the R18B or Transcontinental the tires are tubeless. A simple tire plug or gummy worm kit will fix a flat and if you carry a small air pump you can be back on the road quickly. I have a plug kit with a small MotoPump 12v air pump that plugs into the batter charging connector that works well. I've used this setup a couple of times over the years to fix flats. There's nothing worse than being out in the middle of Nevada, hundreds of miles from a shop, and getting a flat. Motopumps also sells a really high quality tire plug kit that is very compact.

Many times the tire foam does not work and also it needs to be thoroughly cleaned out when the tire is repaired. Regardless of what it says on the can - many tire foam sealants can cause severe corrosion of the aluminum and even steel wheels if not removed and cleaned out thoroughly. The gummy worm type tire plugs can be a quite permanent fix. I have never seen one fail after being repaired, even after several thousand miles.

I think I have a tool roll up by CruzTools; I had CruzTools for my GS Adventure, and surprisingly it came equipped with the proper Torx and such sized for the bike.

I ordered a new kit for my R18 B, plus I have a small 12 V pump and flat kit for long trips.

On my r9t (tubeless) then airpump (it's so cute I had to buy it), tyre plug kit and multi torques tool and roadside assist from there on.

On my R18 mostly just roadside assist (normal auto club one covers biking). I've had one need for a "R18 roadside" assist, and it took 3 guys, so even a sidecar wouldn't carrying them..... and having to buy them drinks at each stop means it's just not feasable.....

When I do some half assed mod I might carry a few things untill all my self doubts are forgotten though.

The ´obviously´ depends on the type of wheels.

Some use ´slime´ in the inner tubes but in my experience that is mess-ive.
