What did you do to your R18 today?

Camping trip with a few BMWs. Two R18s were there. I was on my GS (sorry) but it's because the weather was nasty and I didn't want to get the R18 dirty. These two didn't mind:

These photos provide an interesting comparison of R18' and R18B' front fenders. The larger fender of the R18B doesn't look like much of an improvement over the short fender of the R18. There was a thread on this on the forum

I completed the rear light replacement and wire harness. My bike is the factory BMW Bobber kit so unfortunately I was stuck with the BMW light mounts. I did not care for the factory arrow lights so I decided to replace with round lights for a traditional look. I measured and made drawings and had adaptor plates CNC machined to match the bracket. The brackets are stainless and polished to 6k grit and buffed. Thanks to Klaus Brummel for machining the plates!

The front light and gauge were also lowered and I polished all the stainless hardware on the bike to clean up the look.

Found out on another forum that one TC owner upgraded the factory subwoofers in his saddlebags with these. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TSY4ZY9?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

He said he had to modify the plastic cages to get them to fit because they are substantially beefier than the stock speakers, with a much bigger magnet, but that the sound is quite a bit better. The new subs don't bottom out at half volume like the stock ones. I ordered a pair and will update once I receive and install.

Throw some shrimp on the barbie, I'll be there in about 3 months.... :)
Maaate! If ya gunna come down here ya gotta get the lingo right, it’s a prawn in straya put another prawn on the barbie mate.

If ya come in 3 months that will be winter here it might get down as low as 12deg or 54deg in your terms😂 but that’s only in the morning it’ll probably get back up to 21 (70) around lunchtime.🤣

I put on the Wunderlich passenger seat and Wunderlich sissy bar. I took off the saddle bags - they look good but they're too small. I am storing the bags inside away from the elements so that the leather stays in tip top shape. It will be a plus when it's time to sell. I also took off the windshield at the last minute. I can't seem to be happy with the windshield (tall or OEM) so I'm trying no windshield at all.

The passenger seat looks a bit odd from some angles because I'm keeping the solo seat. Yes I have the Wunderlich rider seat but as good as it is, I like the height of the solo seat.
