Engine/transmission issues. Check the manual for further information. Let us know what the issue is.😉

That light came before I started the engine. Engine has never over heated.

I guess the message here means there is an issue and no necessarily means the engine is overheating, but the ECU has detected a fault somewhere. If you don’t have a diagnostic tool I would recommend to take it to the dealer for inspection. It could be something silly but it is best not to take any chances 👍

Thanks I understand that. Evidently when I took the o2 sensors out .one got grease or contaminated some way. I'll remove and clean them. Maybe test them .I've checked all connectors and wires for cuts. My obd2 lx link won't connect with ecu. I've used it before. So what's up with that?

Is it possible that you may have forgotten to replace a positive or ground cable after you finished with the O2 sensors?

I’d double check the ODBII harness on the bike and verify that nothing was disconnected.

When you plug in your GS-911, does it receive power from the harness? Is your phone/laptop able to recognize the bike through the GS-911 despite no ECU connection?

Mike

I'm using obd Link LX with motoscan app that I've used before. It does connect to ecu momentarily. Goes red. No connection.then goes green. So I ordered a gs 911 hope it works out ,it should be here Saturday.

I missed the ODB link LX (had GS-911 on the mind) part. Regardless of what ODBII device you use, if it was successful before, but no longer, then one must conclude that something changed, hence double-checking the ODBII harness.

Knowing nothing else about your bike, I’d start by working backwards with your O2 removal/install and ensure no harness connector(s) got damaged or unplugged as a result of your work.

Mike

I will recheck. Thanks
