For those interested in a new video review, a chap going under the name ‘MAM Journals’ has had the R18 100 Year Edition on loan. He was very complimentary about it. He doesn’t have thousands of subscribers (and do the clickbait find fault for something to say hater thing) but he’s a respected long time motorcyclist. I can’t do the hyperlink but it’s easy to find. Enjoy.

Thanks for the reference. Excellent, quite objetive, review.
I like how he ends up saying: “These bikes, are fun.”
And in the end, just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, fun is a relative term.
At different ages (and spirits) I’ve enjoyed different motorcycle styles: as a transportation tool half of my college time, a bit of enduro, then cruising in three different Harley-Davidson, then adventure riding on three BMW GS and now at 60 back into a more relaxed cruising / touring with my R 18 Classic. A bike which (in my eyes) I can just sit on the garage and look at it and see the Art of the Motorcycle just as the Guggenheim Museum did. However this one, I can take for ride, short or long, anytime. And I am loving it!
