I'd like to see a true profile pic.
The angle of these pics make them looking enormous. 😄

It reminds these classy R50 side cases :

I like the black, but when ordering my R18 I asked for this beige color.
And I tried hard, believe me.
No way to get that from BMW.
A genuine historic color from the brand though.
Now it would need to dismantle the whole bike to have the chassis painted.

Let the dismantling begin, not that much work or time. Just enough desire.
 
Looking closer where they begin and end, they don't look bigger than mine.
I might strip & paint them ! :giggle:

It sure is! And... think about it... If you can't have a longer rear fender (WITH a hinge in it, for wheel service), would you want that bodacious rear end spattered with all sorts of gunk?
