Thanks I'm thinking of taking a crack at this. I see you have the Kellermann tailights. I looked into their Bullet 1000 DFs but they said none of their stuff is compatible with the US model. No conversion kits either.I did, to reach the lower inside part of the fender
From his posts you can see he has a Euro spec bike so the Kellerman adapter works fine. Thanks I'm thinking of taking a crack at this. I see you have the Kellermann tailights. Thanks and good luck! Let us know if you get it to work. From his posts you can see he has a Euro spec bike so the Kellerman adapter works fine.
I will be working on trying to convert the wiring harness I received from LMC to work on my U.S. spec bike. They used a Kellerman adapter.
Hopefully it’s just a matter of isolating the circuits and swapping the wires around.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

I did a lot of research on the different bobber options. The highest quality and cleanest look is the LMC components but you will need the patience of Jobe dealing with Hans.Looking through everything "BOBBER" related on the forum; trying to decide which bobber kit to go with for a 2021 First Edition R18 project, or go with the best components from each of the different Bobber kit companies...
I want to maintain the original BMW OEM fish tail exhaust of the FE R18, maybe just eliminate the servo module for a little extra sound...
I'm pretty excited about this new endeavor...
@ MilwDave & Gr8Adv - it would be great if you guys (and others) could post some featured pictures of your bobber kit items...I did a lot of research on the different bobber options. In general the bobber kits are fenders, rear lights, seat and seat mounting assembly. Both companies do relatively the same thing just differently. Personal preference rules the day.@ MilwDave & Gr8Adv - it would be great if you guys (and others) could post some featured pictures of your bobber kit items...
I've also been looking at the LMC stuff; is there any parts that you would do differently or perhaps from a different company. How about front Directional Blinkers..? Looking for suggestions..

I'm trying to determine which bobber kit is cleaner in terms of the tail lights and exposed wiring? In general the bobber kits are fenders, rear lights, seat and seat mounting assembly. Both companies do relatively the same thing just differently. Personal preference rules the day.
For Walzwerk, they have two sizes based on wheels size and dimension. I have the larger bmw wheels 19/21 I think. This allows the awesome and wide rear tire to fill out the big rear fender.
LMC has the only and the best cooler mod.
Start here to see what walzwerk provides https://www.walzwerk-motorcycles.de/r18/r18-gallery/
To clean up the bar I also replaced the clutch and brake assemblies. Italian made I believe, purchased from LMC. I also replaced the mirrors with bar ends and micro signals.
I think you can see the mods in the pic above. If not let me know and I’ll post pics of anything you want.
Part of the fun is the research.
Yeah... I'm not too sure about TTS, there's nothing on they're website in terms of R18 stuff. Looks like they specialize in wheels and HD stuff..?I don't know about the Walzwerk or LMC rear fenders but the TTS rear fender attaches to the STOCK mounting points for a custom fender. These points are unused with the current original fenders but were designed in place for aftermarket fender solutions.
The wiring runs on the underside of the fender held in place by heavy Gorilla tape and out through holes at the back.
Rear Euro lighting is different from NA. Different bulbs are required for NA WITH shunt resistors installed somewhere under the seat area wiring loom.
Bolts up to stock points. No need for adjustment bracket if you make them to fit.I'm trying to determine which bobber kit is cleaner in terms of the tail lights and exposed wiring?
Can I get some close up pictures of the taillights, associated wiring and any installation woes of the Walzwerks & LMC rear fender kits?
How does the Walzwerks fender physically attached to the R18; it looks as though the LMC fender attaches with an adjustable adapter kit as per a video?
