My Beach Bar installation

Now use your GS911 to turn on the 'Cruising Light's' feature! The bike looks sharp ... Well done! ... And yes, it is good to have people all over the world, otherwise I would not have gotten my tachometer as well 😉
 
Funny... I was just setting up the GS911 for that exact purpose... Probably doing the same on the Model B ..

Very like minded... I'll post a picture of the dimmed cruise lights...

Used my reverse credit to do the beach bars as well. Only add-on needed was longer clutch and brake lines, triple tree mounts and original wiring harnesses worked well. Of course I snapped the fuel hose connection at the tank putting the tank back on, so waiting for the part. What mirrors did yall use? The OEM mirrors won’t allow me to get the rearview angle right. I installed Biltwell short stem mirrors:

Pull that wire harness through the bars, it will really clean up that look; the bars look amazing when you only see a single clutch and brake hydraulic line leading from the handlevers..

The bars are not hollow and I don’t have my own metal shop. Also I don’t mind the lines.

Sure they are. What makes you think they’re not hollow?
You only need to slot them in the same area as the OEM bars.
BMW really cheaped out by not providing them with the slots already in place.

You can also put some nylon loom around the wiring to give it a bit of protection and cleaner look as well.

I misspoke saying they weren’t hollow, meant to say I don’t have the skills to drill holes without ripping up the bars. I know my limitations.
