Took advantage of the Roland Sands discounted parts. Picked up a couple of things to go with the valve covers already on the bikeView attachment 20566
That Two-Toned description threw me as well which is why I ordered the wrong parts on a couple of items. I realized after opening the boxes that both the mirror set and the clutch/brake set is the wrong “color” These are totally black and I wanted the black/brushed colors. I did happen to buy the correct rear brake covers in black/brushed “Machined”Fleabag, excellent haul! Are those reservoir covers (77 12 2 469 269) the machined aluminum black with the unfinished ('silver') aluminum ridges, similar to the RSD ones? Or are they the completely black covers? The "two-tone" description is throwing me. Did they come as a pair or single? Thanks

Unfortunately, the clutch/brake in blacked/brushed is no longer available.
The key word in the description is “Machined”
The correct part number for the Clutch/Brake covers in Black/brushed is 77122469270 …269 is black/black
I was able to find the correct mirror set, it’s part # 77222469369
My dealer is offering huge discounts off the last of the ‘18s, but nothing off parts/accessories at all.Good haul there. A lot of the RSD stuff (and the ‘machined’ bits and pieces in particular) are becoming as rare as rocking horse sh*t.
The revised pricing of a lot of the stuff just goes to show how ridiculous the original prices were.
Get ‘em while you can folks. When they’re gone - they’re gone.
I just had my OEM seat reupholstered in the areas I needed and then recovered as I didn’t see the sense in so much white stitching being on a seat that’s exposed to the elements… cost me $450aud.great discount on the brown fastback seat. I got one a week ago and installed it on my bike also. more comfy than stock for the main rider for sure. I rode for a little while and my cheeks did not go numb while with the stock seat I start to feel the pain... worth the 150 for a mustang seat thats branded BMW and RSD.
I guess it goes to show you that RSD probably designed it, Mustang made it and BMW sells it... also why parts are so darn expensive when no discount.
Discounting the idea of discounting, has got to count for something.....My dealership in Western Australia is discounting nothing!!!
I rang them today and rechecked…. Nope!Discounting the idea of discounting, has got to count for something.....
BMW discounted parts, not the dealers. Here in the US, you can go to https://www.shopbmwmotorcycles.com/. I’m not sure if that’s global, but maybe there is something like that where you live.I rang them today and rechecked…. Nope!
