I kinda like the sound of the stock pipes. One of the reasons I moved away from Harley was to get away from all the noise. To each his own.

Has anyone done, or seen - dyno comparisons between he 4 and 4,5 inch Freedom Exhaust slip ons for the TC? While one might think the larger muffler is better on such a big engine, I would want to make sure I didnt lose any low end torque from the bigger pipe.

When we stopped at the dealer in Daytona to look at the TC, they also had a Goldwing there somebody had traded in. Asked the wife to sit on it and give it a go - as soon as she started to get on it the bodywork creaked and cracked. Much more than the old 98 Goldwing I had which never made a...

Yep, Eurocycles of Daytona in Daytona Beach. I gather they also have stores in Orlando and Tampa as well. Aside from this SNAFU, to be fair the rest of my experience with this dealer have been outstanding. I would buy another bike from them, just not a First Edition unless I saw the SWAG box...

UPDATE: My local dealer checked with BMW and yes, I am supposed to get that box. Furthermore, it was shipped to the delivering dealer the end of June (which is when I bought it). A win for the little guy!

Agree completely. Nice to have, but would have meant more if I didnt have to push for it. Now t's just kinda the principle of it - some dealers give them away, others don't. I dislike inconsistency and am trying to get BMW to acknowledge and apply a uniform policy out there.

I also sent it off to BMW Customer Service rep that I had been emailing with. Sure would like BMW to make this right. But I'll enjoy the bike even if they dont.
