Not on this model, no. I backed it off to 170kg yesterday. It took the edge of the roughness and it doesn't wallow, if thats the right word, in the corners either. Im happy with the compromise.

Fair enuff. I have the baseline model and am 115kg also. The stock shocks fine. Its not a weak link. You're right, they are cruisers however the R18 does perform well if you like to push on a little but obviously at the same time, being sensible about it.

Just would like to share my experience with the rear suspension set up. Took my daughter for a ride the other day. We were going 100 miles or so. I adjusted the rear shock to support our total weight of 190 kg. Algud. The set up performed as expected. I jumped on it the next day by myself...

Very nice. Looks like yours start life as a baseline version judging by the 19" front wheel. Those seats are nice. Have wondered about the mustang backrest. Is your backrest utilised when cruising? I dont have a screen so carry my weight forward to compensate so it looks like it might be...

Quite happy with it atm. Quite like the flash tune i was reading about earlier tho. Not sure how it would affect the warranty. We're fairly isolated here in nz so aftermarket stuff you have to import yourself if not the choices are very limited, and expensive. Probably the best solution is...

Had the baseline model almost a year. Clocked up nearly 29k ks on it. Some of you may have seen my comments on articles on you tube. Loving this machine. Had a triumph storm previously. The R18 is a far superior bike in almost every respect. Have bought the canvas bags and the cross country seat...
