I get approximately 50 mpg, according to the bike. The low fuel light comes on at 150+-. At that point, I don't want to travel too far, 20 miles or so, to get gas. Its not that much of a problem. But the BMW engineers could have installed a fuel gauge as per most modern vehicles.
BMW does have a page on their web site to check for recalls on your specific vin#. It did show I needed the reverse recall performed, nothing else. I have to think the "new, improved" headlight must have a different part number. Mine does work correctly so far.
My '21 Classic Dark Nomad has the adaptive headlight. But my vin says no recall for headlight. It did have the reverse recall via the vin number search on BMW's web site. I wonder, is there a way to see if the updated part is installed? Is there a part number?
Same here. Looking for a sprung solo seat for use with the stock rear fender, no "bitch pad" required by me! But a great looking seat is what I'm looking for, not the plain black one offered by BMW. Butt you can't see it when you are riding. I do like the look of the coil springs under the solo...
I measured the stock pinstriping on my '21 Classic Dark Nomad. Overall its 1/2" wide. the wider white stripe is 1/4", the space is 1/8". the smaller stripe is 1/8". 3M makes that. 3M 7125 2-mil Cast Vinyl. I ordered some. I'll let you know how it works. I want to pinstripe with tape so I can try...
Has anyone tried these front pegs from Amazon, seller is TCMT? The ad says they fit Transcontinental Model but they clearly wouldn't. They look just right for my '21 Classic. Words of wisdom? Amazon is usually great for returns. Plus they appear to swivel!
BMW sells a flashlight that plugs into that socket. I found it in the BMW micro fiche under accessories.

I have a beach bar with a headlight and speedo lowering kit on its way from Spiegler. Its a great look. Mine came with BMW Pro handlebars, kind of short Ape hangers. They make my back hurt.
I am pretty sure that is the adaptive headlight throwing that beam when you lean going down the road. I like the auxiliary lights but wish they also had a high and low beam in them.
