I'm using obd Link LX with motoscan app that I've used before. It does connect to ecu momentarily. Goes red. No connection.then goes green. So I ordered a gs 911 hope it works out ,it should be here Saturday.

Thanks I understand that. Evidently when I took the o2 sensors out .one got grease or contaminated some way. I'll remove and clean them. Maybe test them .I've checked all connectors and wires for cuts. My obd2 lx link won't connect with ecu. I've used it before. So what's up with that?

That light came before I started the engine. Engine has never over heated.

Battery went low but not dead, it's fully recharged now. I added bar risers . No disconnected cables.i checked the o2 sensor cables all good connections . I'm thinking it's my motoscan and obd link lx reader. But I've used it before had difficulty connecting to ecu. The servos are connected...

I'm using the stock Headers. Only using slipons.

Lots of work with sensor connections. I really can't see how that can effect it.

I ordered this same exhaust from Cafe Racer. Same problem . They told me it's the first they heard of this problem

Using Stock headers and sensors .Just installing slipons. Shouldn't affect safe mode

Did you get any trouble codes after installing? I did engine light came on went into safe mode !

It does point to o2 sensors . Shows them working.let engine idle to op temp. No difference!

Does it matter which exhaust system? Troble light came on before I hit starter button

I have moto scan. And module LX 1. Showing no codes. Went thru. Reset everything still shows trouble on odometer.

Installed new aftermarket exhaust today . Took my time everything connected. Now the bike is in safe mode. Don't know why. Turned ignition on check engine light on. Only goes into creep mode. Checked for trouble codes. None detected. What gives.

That's just great, I ordered a set of Madd exhaust. Not looking forward to this problem.
